Pilates mat classes are ideal for those who have no severe injuries and can commit to a scheduled time each week. These classes are conducted on the floor mat, using your own body weight and small apparatus for resistance. Focus is placed on precise movements originating from ‘the powerhouse’. Learn the fundamentals of Pilates floor exercises and the principles of breathing, concentration and coordination in a friendly, supportive environment. Learn to stretch with strength and control. Improve posture and body awareness.
At the Pilates Lounge we provide small and intimate classes to maximise quality over quantity. Space is limited to 7 clients therefore bookings are essentials.
All classes run for 55mns.
We offer group mat Pilates classes for various companies, government agencies, schools and community groups in neighbouring suburbs and the Sydney CBD.
Classes usually run in ‘term’ blocks of 8 or 10 consecutive weeks. The current rate per 60mns session is $170 if held in the client’s premises. Fees are paid in full at the start of the term.
Classes can be run at the studio for smaller groups up to seven.
It is recommended that clients provide their own mats, however, we can supply all the necessary equipment if required.
